The land of shuttles, wild and scenic rivers, campfires, relaxation and immersion into oregon's most iconic mountain bike mecca
We helped put this area on the map, and our guides are experts
Oakridge doesn’t need much of an introduction to anyone who’s ridden it. But for those who haven’t, it’s that place you’ve been hearing about. Miles of purpose-built and natural singletrack woven through the Willamette National Forest, shuttled daily so you keep your legs for the descents that matter. TCE has been running these trails since the Trans Cascadia race put them on the map.
LESS LOGISTICS, MORE DESCENDING
Private shuttle, experienced guide, dialed itinerary. Every morning starts at TCE HQ in Westfir. Everything is handled so you spend your energy on the trail, not the planning.
TRANS-CASCADIA RACE COURSES. YOURS TO RIDE.
Oakridge has hosted some of the most celebrated enduro stages in North America. This trip puts you on those same trails, guided, shuttled, and built around the routes that made this place famous.

The Old Cascade Crest is a remote backcountry zone in the Willamette National Forest, offering rugged ridgeline traverses, dense old-growth forests, and massive descents through some of Oregon’s most raw and scenic mountain terrain.

A high-alpine adventure in the heart of the Cascades, this point-to-point ride connects Ollalie, O’Leary, and Kings Castle via scenic ridgelines, short technical climbs, and sweeping forested descents.
As the headquarters of Transcascadia Excursions, Oakridge offers unparalleled access to some of Oregon’s most rugged and remote mountain biking terrain. Surrounded by dense forests, alpine ridgelines, and deep river valleys, the area is known for its raw singletrack, big descents, and a true backcountry feel. With decades of trail work and deep roots in the community, TCE knows every corner of this zone—and it shows in the unforgettable rides they deliver.
Oakridge Oregon MTB Itinerary
Arrival + First Turns
Roll into Trans-Cascadia Excursions HQ in Westfir, Oregon—your basecamp for the next four days. Sitting in the heart of the Willamette National Forest, we’ve got access to a massive network of backcountry singletrack, which means we’ll build your itinerary in real time based on trail conditions and what’s riding best.
We’ll get you oriented, dial bikes and gear, and roll straight into your first ride. Expect a proper introduction to Oakridge—fast, loamy, and just technical enough to set the tone for what’s ahead.
Signature Oakridge Descents
Morning coffee, gear check, and we’re loading up early.
Today is about the trails that put Oakridge on the map. Long, back-to-back descents through deep forest, linking zones that most riders never touch in a single day. This is shuttle-assisted riding at its best—maximizing time on trail and minimizing the grind.
Expect 4–6 hours of riding depending on the group. Riders should come prepared with their own food, hydration, and ride essentials for the day.
Trans-Cascadia Terrain
Today we tap into zones that helped define the Trans-Cascadia race.
This is where things get a little more raw—longer transfers, deeper into the backcountry, and descents that feel earned. Your guide will stitch together lines you wouldn’t find on your own, with options to stack additional laps if the group is feeling good.
Slightly later start, bigger day overall. Plan to be self-supported with food and hydration.
Final Day, Rider’s Choice
Last day on the bike.
By now, legs and energy levels are all over the map, so we keep it flexible. Your guide will read the group and build the day accordingly—whether that’s one last big descent, a greatest-hits lap, or something a little more playful to close things out.
We finish back at HQ with time to pack up and roll out.
