Explore the remote, awe-inspiring east side of the Gifford Pinchot National Forest — the Mt. Adams Backcountry — one of the PNW’s premier mountain biking zones. We kick off with a shuttle drop at East Canyon Trail near Takhlakh Lake, climbing up to massive views of Mt. Adams before dropping into a flowy, bermed descent. After refueling riverside, we shuttle higher up to tackle Juniper Ridge, hike-a-bike to the spine, and ride south toward Jumbo Peak. Expect white mountain goat sightings, ridgeline exposure, and huge descents down South Juniper Ridge into the Dark Meadow drainage.
